Slices & Smiles is a joyful outdoor dessert event where everyone brings a dessert to share and grabs a ticket to join the celebration

 

When: June 27th (Saturday)

Where: Finlay Park (The landing)

Time: 5.30pm – 7.30pm

Fees:

  • One Person: $28

  • Kids under 8: Free

  • Group Pack (4 People): $90

WHAT TO KNOW?
 

Got a sweet tooth? Pick your favorite dessert from the list, bring it along to share with everyone, and grab your ticket!

This event is all about desserts, laughter, and good company. Enjoy a cozy, welcoming atmosphere filled with sweet treats, fun conversations, and new connections. Whether you’re coming with friends, family, or flying solo, you’ll fit right in. So, grab a dessert, bring your appetite, and get ready for a deliciously fun time together!

 

Enjoy music and complimentary gourmet soda inside the event! 🎶🥤

 

What You Can Bring!

Each guest must bring one dessert item from the options listed below in order to enter the event.

 

            • Cakes(minimum 8 inches in diameter, about 3 inches tall)
            • Pies (fruit pies, mini pies, or hand pies – approximately 8 inches in diameter, about 2–2.5 inches tall)
            • Cupcakes (15 pcs, standard size cupcakes)
            • Cookies (20pcs, each about 2.5–3.5 inches in diameter)

 

  • Desserts must be presented on a cake board, platter, or tray for display. Please avoid aluminum pans when possible, and package delicate desserts securely for transport.

  • This is a dessert only gathering, so please avoid bringing savory items, including meat pies. Are not permitted

  • You’re welcome to bake your dessert at home or purchase one from a store, as long as it meets the event’s quality and quantity guidelines.

 

 

Kids and Adults:

Little ones under 8 are welcome to come play and enjoy a sweet treat, no ticket or dessert needed for them. (if they insist then of course you can bring treats)

Everyone else will need a ticket and a dessert to share so we can all enjoy the fun together!

 

Weather:

This is an outdoor event, and we’ll be keeping an eye on the forecast. If rain or high heat is expected, the start time (or the date) might be shifted, and we’ll reach out to you ahead of time with the updated plan.

 

Food Allergy Notice

For the safety of all attendees, all food items must be clearly labelled with allergens. Participants are solely responsible for identifying and disclosing ingredients in their items.

Just a few sweet tips! 🎂 Cakes should be at least 8 inches in diameter. Please skip aluminum pans and place your cake on a cake board so it looks amazing on the display table. If it’s a delicate cake, feel free to use any packaging needed to keep it safe. We absolutely love beautifully decorated cakes in all flavors, get creative and have fun! ✨

Tiny humans are more than welcome!  Kids under 6 can come, play, and even enjoy a little cake without needing a ticket or a full cake. Everyone else needs a ticket and a cake to join in the fun. As for our furry friends, 🐶 Slices and Smiles is a no-dogs zone. They’ll have to cheer from home! 🎉

Totally up to you! 💛 You can bake and decorate it yourself for maximum bragging rights or take the easy route and grab a cake from your favorite bakery/Hotel/Cafe. Either way, make sure it meets the minimum size and display requirements. We want all cakes looking at their sweetest on the table! ✨
