To enter the event, everyone 8 and older just needs a ticket and a dessert to share đŸŽŸïžđŸ° Little ones under 8 can join for free!

 
 

I bought group tickets. Can I check in first and have my crew check in later when they arrive?

Nope 😊 Everyone needs to check in together for the dessert event ,no separate check-ins. Your whole dessert crew should arrive and check in as a group! đŸŽŸïž

Can I buy tickets for my whole group?

Yes! You can buy tickets for everyone in your group, just make sure each person has a ticket and brings a dessert to join 

 

What if I don’t know anyone there?

Definitely!Â đŸ’«Â You don’t need to know anyone to join in, this is the perfect place to meet new people. Lots of guests come on their own, and it always turns into a fun mix of friendly faces, good conversations, and shared laughter. Come as you are, we’ll make sure you feel right at home! 🌟

 

Are there any guidelines for the desserts?

You just need to pick one dessert item from the four options and bring it with you
 
Cakes (minimum 8 inches in diameter, about 3 inches tall)

Pies (fruit pies, mini pies, or hand pies – approximately 8 inches in diameter, about 2–2.5 inches tall)

Cupcakes (15 pcs, standard size cupcakes)

Cookies (20pcs, each about 2.5–3.5 inches in diameter)

Desserts must be presented on a cake board, platter, or tray for display. Avoid aluminum pans when possible. If your dessert is delicate, package it securely for transport.

This is a dessert only gathering. Savory items, including meat pies, are not permitted.

 

Can kids or dogs join the fun at Slices and Smiles?

Tiny humans are more than welcome!  Kids under 8 can join the fun, play, and enjoy a little cake without needing a ticket or a dessert. Everyone 8 and older will need a ticket and a dessert to participate. 

As for furry friends đŸ¶, Slices and Smiles is a no-dogs event so they’ll need to sit this one out and cheer you on from home! 🎉

 

Do I have to bake and decorate my dessert myself, or can I buy one?

Totally up to you! You can bake and decorate it yourself for maximum bragging rights, or simply pick one up from your favorite bakery, hotel, or cafĂ©. đŸ„§

Just make sure it meets the size and display guidelines so it looks great on the dessert table! ✹

If it’s a delicate cake, feel free to use any packaging needed to keep it safe. We absolutely love beautifully decorated cakes in all flavors, get creative and have fun! ✹
